As Zinda charges into the compound, the security car comes around the corner, heading towards the guardhouse. It accelerates when it sees the damage resulting from the car Green Shield threw.

Meanwhile, Arisia's ring detects activity in the building: lights coming on, a few people moving around inside.

"One shot is all she needs to take out the offending speaker. "Should've told me we were gettin' our photos taken. I didn't even get a chance to smile."

The broken equipment falls to the pavement with a loud clang and the door slams shut. A few agitated voices can be heard from the other side.

A little target practice never hurts. "The next thing I see comin' outta that door better be a white flag!"

More agitated muffled voices, then some less identifiable noises occupy the minutes before the door slowly creaks open again. A large white glossy flag pokes out, looking too stiff to be fabric. On second look, Zinda can tell that the "white flag" is the reverse of a medium-sized poster, attached to an umbrella.

As the flag dips, she can see that the front of the poster features a soaring eagle.

Determination allows mere mortals to soar to unimaginable, new heights.

But a Blackhawk flies higher.

A moment of memory, gone as quickly as it returned.

"File out here so I can see what y'all are doing."

The flagbearer emerges from the doorway, followed by a few other men and women dressed in corporate casual, their hands held high. "Who are you?" asks a frightened woman.

"Someone with a sense of ethics, sug. Now just sit your li'l selves down and put your hands on your heads for me."

They sit down, obedient under her gaze ... though the man holding the flag discovers his gaze is traveling up her legs to the hem of her skirt.

Which never fails her notice. "Enjoy the view while it's here. You got, oh, I'd say, about three more minutes."
