A million thoughts are going through Sand's mind.  Are they OK?  Is SHE OK?  Will they find her?

He checks his watch.  Yep, they've been gone 10 seconds.

"Anyone know any good parlor games?  I don't think everyone here's into Civ4."

He pauses, glancing back at the room, as if worried about betraying a confidence.

"How much do you know about Nightstar? The half-Tamaranean Titan?"

"Pretty much that she's a Titan and she's at least partially Tamaranean." Sand replies

"She's from an alternate timeline, in the future." He shrugs. "Came here during the whole Operation: Chaos debacle."

"Right..." Sand says.

"Ibn has no history. No real records before Operation: Chaos. He had a very close connection with Nightstar." He shrugs. "He's not Talia's brother."

"Then who is he?" Sand says. "I'm assuming he's also from the future..."

"He is. He's Talia's son." He frowns. "I know that Batman trusts him... but... to me, the better character witness is Sue Dibny."

Sand looks at Chimp. "And she vouches for him?"

"Not... specifically. But he did help save the world from his grandfather's plague. And she didn't... not-vouch for him." He shrugs. "He's working on a cure for cancer and trying to avoid the ills of the future he's seen. I think we can trust him... but we'll want to keep an eye on him."

"Agreed. He's a little TOO sympathetic to Amelia for my tastes, but that's not enough to kick him off base either." Sand looks back to the hallway, then to Chimp. "Excellent intel. Thank you. And welcome back."
