C'mon down, kids
It felt good.
REALLY good.
Good to be back behind the bar at Chaney's, pouring drinks and handling customers who didn't follow the rules. So far she'd had to toss two people out onto the sidewalk for fighting, and that other guy seemed to finally be waking up.
The place was bustling, and Grace wouldn't have it any other way.

The tall woman slides over to her, grinning widely.
"Though I gotta say -- not used to seeing your kind in a dive like this." Maybe it was the light hitting the giant rock on her left hand. Or the expensive shoes. Or the fact that this woman's face had been plastered all over the society pages in recent days.

Ice cubes clink into an old fashioned glass, followed by smooth amber scotch. She pushes the glass in front of Selena.

Not that she thinks this one can't take care of herself.
