Harvey Dent is indulging in a cigarette outside the police station, next to his partner/assistant/sensei/... Sonia Alcana.

The tip she dug up, the tip he phoned in anonymously... it's led to another shutdown of one of Rupert Thorne's front businesses. The discreet follow-up has just proven it.

He's got a smile on his face. This is a man who really doesn't smile anymore, but there it is.

Roaring across the sky in an emerald 1967 convertible Mustang, Green Lantern Guy Gardner looks over his shoulder as he takes stock of the unconscious alien twins in the back seat. The blue monkey sitting between Guy and Detective Chimp seems fine physically, but it’s clearly agitated.

Guy figures he should probably call ahead…

Home again, home again

It's been a couple days since Dick came back from the West Coast. He was happy enough to get home, that much was obvious; but he's been moody since. Not forthcoming about the events out at the commune beyond the official reports, he's spending much of his daylight hours working on putting the finishing touches on his crime lab and new space beneath the Clocktower. Mary is never far from his side whenever possible.

The whole thing's left him with a bitter taste in his mouth, and he's not sure if it's going away anytime soon.

Old habits, as a result, die hard.

Right now he's piecing together a new fingerprint analyzer, while Mary attempts to get the hang of eating pieces of banana from a bowl in a high chair nearby.
