Viva Las Vegas indeed.

Two Birds of Prey, one green flame superheroine, a mysterious talking head and a thief. It's not exactly Ocean's team of 11 but they might just make this work.

How does one take down the biggest mob family in Las Vegas? By hitting them where it hurts, in the wallet. Careful manipulation of the gaming in certain casinos is the way to start. Apparently the talking head (who Cris still thinks of as the 'great and terrible Oz' instead of Oracle) has set up careful intrusions into the computer systems to make things interesting.

Cris can't exactly wander around the strip since he was supposed to be dead with a couple of bullets in his skull. Instead he gets to be the watchdog. They have a room set up as headquarters with camera feeds to wherever the girls will be working so he can relay names or information as they need it.

It's not going to be fun being left behind in the room while they get to go out and have all the fun.

Good food, good friends, and good conversation.

Devoted as he is to stately Wayne Manor and the legacy it represents (and the person in whom that legacy is vested), Alfred appreciates the rare opportunities to slip away for reasons that have little to do with his duties. Such opportunities are thrice appreciated when they involve the lady currently seated across the table from him.

"I recommend La Parisienne Poulet Aux Framboises," he says as he studies the menu. "A simple dish compared to some, but most satisfying. It is regrettable that raspberries are not currently in season, but since they serve merely to garnish this dish, your palate may avoid the offence."

Harvey Dent has been a model prisoner, but they're taking no chances with Two-Face.

They're making him await his trial in Blackgate.

If they send him up the river, he'd prefer it here. The other option is Arkham, and that spells the end of any hope for his sanity. If they sentence him to Blackgate, it is not a total defeat.

Still, it's a hellhole. Prison politics of the worst kind, shit food, shit people.

And the kind of corruption among the guards that allows a palm greaser like Rupert Thorne to have an unsupervised visit to his cell on his way out.

It's a long journey to Thanagar.

It's even longer when you take as many pitstops as Lobo does. Whether it's to get a few thousand bites to eat, to drain out all the beer he drinks, or to start a fight in every backwater space station he pulls into, The Main Man does things at his own pace, and has never bothered with discipline.

Which no doubt frustrates the hell out of the Hawks he's taking in, who spend most of their time chained to his bike.

The worst part of the trip is most likely the stench. Throughout the entire sojourn, the Last Czarnian has yet to bathe.

As they pull into Zanak-7 spaceport, it doesn't look likely that he'll start now.
