Okay, it's been 36, but Kory always request space after a mission if she has a lover around. Now there's a husband and a child in the picture and that last mission still makes her shutter. That - and she's pretty sure there was a subject her zaneeya will be asking about and she's really not sure she could take that sort of interest until she at least made sure everyone else was recovering all right. That and the news about Mar'i and "grandpa," probably wasn't going to go over so well.

More importantly, she wanted to see Kory to indulge in happiness for awhile. Still, she was very curious about this new nephew and brother-in-law and was very eager to meet them. They had to be wonderful and amazing because if there was something Kory had no patience for, it was the mediocre. It was overdue time to catch up.
