Salakk had been monitoring the various activities of the Green Lanterns for the Guardians on Oa when the distress call had been received. He was instantly surprised when instead of it being the 'Torchbearer' Kyle Rayner like he expected, it was instead one of the eight GLs that had disappeared without a trace months ago. Frustrated by his inability to track the location of the call directly, he sent a message out to the GLs in that area to keep a watchful eye for anything else that might occur.




"This is Salaak to any Green Lantern of Sector 2814, emergency distress signal received from Green Lantern Hannu. Signal originated from somewhere on the surface of planet Earth. Salaak to any Green Lantern of Sector 2814."
