In San Francisco, things are torrential

Jesse Quick has sent out the APB.

But right now, Titans Tower is on fire in half a dozen places, and the torrential storm overhead isn't stopping the fires nearly enough. Lightning sizzles through the sky, and well over a dozen flying figures soar around the Tower, surveilling it and occasionally blasting it with something. Many more are on the ground and in the Tower itself - parts of the Tower explode periodically as the violence escalates.

The Tower is under siege, and the Titans are fighting a losing battle.

But things change, and Weather Wizard turns his head and sees:

His last thought before the vines toss him into the ground hard is how come nobody told him everybody would have powers.

"Well that was annoying." She looks around to see who she knows...if anyone...to figure out what's going on and how she got here.

She comes to and groans. Then gives a yelp as she touches her nose, trying to brush away the blood. Grumbling she gets up to have a look around then spots Tefe.

"Tefe?!"

"Well that explains...maybe." She is at Zee's side.

"Want to explain what I'm doing here?"

She gets to her feet only a little wobbly, looking to see if it's at least safe enough to talk...for the moment.

"I needed help. Got smacked. ...fucking ow...." She had touched her nose again to check the bleeding.

"Guess the call was generalized. Sorry and thanks?"

They're mystics.

That means she targets them with her soul-paining scream.

She had just turned to see how bad Zee was hurt when the sound hit her and she screamed and tried to cover her ears, not that it helped any.

She lets loose with a blood curdling scream of her own and curls up into a little ball of pain.

She lays it on even harder. Don't let up, don't give the witches a chance -

And that's when a sunburst slams into her like a comet, and she flies backward and hard into a wall, and down.

That sucked.

She's not getting the chance to make that noise again. Vines and roots pull themselves from the ground and envelope Silver Banshee completely and drag her half underground to keep her down.

And then the ground trembles slightly, and mud swirls around their feet again.

She slowly uncurls, doing a quick mental check of her physical well being. She doesn't even know where to rub to make that ouchie feel better.

"Tefe?"

She glances up and sees Ray. oh thanks the gods!!! Sees mud boy.

"Didn't I just ekab you?!" Smirk...it hurts but the incantation is there.

He stiffens again, instantly.

She smirks and thousands of tiny rootlets thread through his body and crack him apart into several pieces, she's pretty sure it won't do more than inconvenience him until he gets some water.

"And now you're a mudmask."

She winces, somewhat sympathetically. That's gotta hurt.

She stands and takes Tefe's arm as she looks around to someone to help. She grimmaced a little bit and made a mental note to see a chiropracter ASAP after this.

"Come on."

Her eyes widen as she sees the General and Superman looking to come their way.

"Time to leave, teleporting is our friend, go go."

Yipe! Broken nose, bruised ribs. Yep, time to go she thinks. Well that and how the hell is she going to explain the pretty bruises to John when she gets home.

She takes Tefe's hand and with a stuffed and hurting nose opens a portal outta there.
