The Hermes Ballroom is packed with congoers, some in street clothes, but most in spandex, silk, leather, or the more humble cotton, plastic, and vinyl, in a riot of colors. There are Supermen, Wonder Women, Wonder Girls, Superboys, but the predominant colors are red and yellow, for Flash and Kid Flash.

Date: 2006-07-17 12:50 am (UTC)"My thanks! But, pray, excuse me. I fear the bartender has misplaced the beer and I have promised to help him find it."
With that, the cape is swished once more towards the bar.

Date: 2006-07-17 02:52 pm (UTC)"Yea, verily! It would bring me great pleasure and my gratitude would be without end should any endeavor to include themselves in the quest I have accepted."
The would be accomplace is pulled into a conspiratorial hug.
"The mission is simple. When the missing beer is procured, one bottle must be delivered to me, each one following that one must be delivered to a comely male individual with my compliments. I've had word that the true reward for the missing beer lays in the possession of one that was described to me as such. Hence the delivery. May I count on your help, friend?"

Date: 2006-07-18 02:51 am (UTC)"Truly! Locate and procure the beer. Give one to me, one to a handsome stranger. Then one to me and so on until all of the beer has been discovered."
"Guy" pulls his partner in tight for a conspiratory whisper. "Be sure to pass along my good wishes to the gifted men as one of them holds my reward."
Then he stands back, giving the suck...er...willing participant a light shove. "God speed man! And tell no one of our plot lest you induct them to my cause!"

Date: 2006-07-18 03:06 am (UTC)Poor con-goer. He begins his task, choosing what he guesses are the handsome guys--not really a judge of men himself, after all--and hands out the beers, being sure to give another one to "Guy" after each time.
His answer to the puzzled looks?
"From the gentleman over there with the cape and mask--or well, the fun hat anyway. Thinks you're cute, I guess."

Date: 2006-07-19 03:03 pm (UTC)Sure, that was fun, but this? Just as much if not more so.
Especially the festive nature of the ones wearing the costumes, and...
His mind is derailed as his eyes hit the well built girl in the Kory costume. He'd probably see Donna too, but his mind is a bit occupied right now.
Holy hell...Kory wears more than that! Doesn't she...?
For the moment, he's unaware that he's practically staring.

Date: 2006-07-23 01:32 pm (UTC)Kon kept his eyes glued to the swaying hips of a girl in a barely-there Black Canary costume.
"This really isn't a good time, Lex," he muttered. "Trying to think about hot girls in spandex. You belong absolutely nowhere in that equation."
