The World of Tomarrow wasn't really. It was an amusement park that had been part of the farmland surrounding the city. It was made in the early '60's to showcase the technological innovations that would soon (har, har) be a part of everyday life. Most of these flying cars and android maids that lived among the rusted out rides had other, more profitable, applications in blowing things up and most companies were content to develop in those directions. Others like WayneTech and KORD Industries prided themselves on technology for the people, but even those toys were co-oped and made from minerals that were ripped from the earth and made for people that trample on Her and take relentlessly.
That's what Ivy would normally have said when coming to this husk of an amusement park. Today...
"Welcome to our new home, Harl!"
