He's knocked onto his side, crashing through tables and chairs, suprised at first, then angry at the fact that the JLA aren't just hindering the plan they have, they're interfering, costing them precious time for the lives of the children under threat.
They already lost Greta. Several of his friends in this very group have their own children in danger.
He may not have a child to fight for himself, but he's certainly fighting like Hell for everyone else's children to live.
He already saw another plague's result, and he'll be damned if he sees it happen again.
Shifting, he growls as the newly formed octopus whips out his tentacles, securing as many of Vixen's limbs as he can reach.
