All he sees is a rapidly approaching streak of red and blue, and the vague outline of a very powerful fist. There isn't even time to get an arm up to try to feebly deflect the blow. Superman's fist collides with Damage's cheek, sending him flying, and Superman, who can hear clouds scrape together, will be able to hear the veins and arteries in his face burst.
At least Grant will be able to say that Superman gave him that nice shiner.
It takes a little while, but he does eventually come back down to earth, his shoulder slamming into the ground. Grant skids about a hundred yards, his body wearing a trail in the grass and soil, and he lays there, motionless, defeated, done.
