(This scene is a continuation of events from this scene.)
When Brainwave appeared, it was like something out of Beirut, or Iraq.
Or Kahndaq.
He knew the television feed went down, but there were dozens of reports at a "safe distance" away, still scribbling furiously.
And a warehouse was on fire and no one was doing anything about it.
He reached out. This entire area had Mr. Mind's psychic stench all over it, but it was so pervasive that he wasn't sure if there was current mind control or not, or if Psimon was still in the vicinity.
No doubt, he needed some assistance. He looks around, and notices a red-hooded figure. He recognizes her as Omen, the Titans resident telepath.
And she looks...intent.
Trying to be as subtle as possible, Brainwave attempts to find what exactly is going on.

Better that than what he undergoes at Mid-Nite's hand.
The grim expression never changes from his features, never softens when the good news is given or hardens when his doctor turns away. He does, however, look at Arisia once Pieter has taken his leave - time enough for them to talk later - and study her for what might have been unstated but clear to someone other than the patient.

She takes a step back and looks back at him, meeting his gaze.
"Yes?"

Arisia pauses, "I can get him for you?"

He pauses, head bowed, to gather his strength, but just audibly he adds, "Thank you."
not words often heard from him.

There is a small pause, "You should drink water and eat something. The healing will take a lot out of your system. Food and water will help belay that effect."
And with that, she turns, to head out. She has more to do.

Finding his son comes first.
