The rules of light and wavelengths were slightly altered here, it was the best he'd been able to do. Not exactly your straight forward mystic here.
Sue was going to save Light. That wasn't the plan.
So he rubbed his foot over the diagram he'd drawn and changed the laws of light back to normal, giving Dr. Light an infinite burst of power which should tip the balance against Sue's will.
