The heroes continue to arrive and partake in the Thanksgiving feast, with varying degrees of relief that the "alien invasion" was merely a ruse.

"No, no they aren't. And you can be sure to tell whoever it was that let the signal out about that." Cassie watches Kory intently. She'd hate to be the one who had to face an angry Starfire.

Kory sighs. "I might. Though--" She pokes at the turkey with her fork. "I am starting to grow sleepy."

She eyes the turkey on Kory's plate. "It's the turkey, sweetie. That's why I stay far, far away from it. It's almost more powerful than a tranquilizer dart. Tastier, too, though." Maybe just a little piece...

Cassie's not a big fan of the ham. It's great stuff, but...well, she does like the glaze.

She watches Kory intently. "Coffee is good. For the wake-uppy happiness."

Cassie wants to facepalm herself, she really does.

Just moments ago, she'd reminded herself about Star's lack of sense of humor.

She supposed that extended to pop culture references too.

"That was...a commerical...that I quoted. From a few years ago. It's...complicated." She bites down on her lip. "Though, well, yes, technically, it is pink. I guess its the blush wine of meats."

Cassie shakes her head. Total crash and burn.
