Your mission, should you choose to accept it--and you will, because that's the kind of people you are--is to find out why so many homeless patients are disappearing from the streets of Portsmouth. The doc doesn't take on the easy cases. Look at me. Look at any of us, really.

This one didn't go out on the tip board. No point in panicking people, but I've been combing through the e-mails and postings on our board to see if anything comes up. Not sure I've come up with a whole lot. The answers are probably out there on the streets.

Camilla can't remember the last time there were this many people at the doc's house. Usually it's just him, Charlie, maybe Nite-Lite and some of his crew, Tara when she can, and Camilla herself. The Black Canary a couple of times, Arisia--who makes Camilla feel big and clumsy--but the pilot's new. Great cook, that lady. This Manhunter chick's scary, even without the gauntlets and the staff, but she's looking for someone, and Tara likes her, so that's something in her favor.

Poor Arisia. Used to be, when she came here, she'd be helping out the doc, but this time around she's mostly been sleeping or being quiet somewhere in the house. Still nice as ever, but something really bad must've happened.

Camilla leaves off wondering about Arisia as everyone files into the meeting room. Time for her to start tracking what they find, see if there's a pattern to the pieces.

"My boyfriend." Arisia pokes at the bar for a moment before furthering, "He wasn't in control of himself. Mind control is a danger of the job and all...."

The elfin looking woman shrugs a little. She still doesn't know what to think about it.

There's that automatic, 'kill the sonabitch,' that comes from being a ER doctor in training working with a lot of domestic violence cases. Then she remembers it's Hal Jordan last she checked and he was one of the good guys - Ollie's best friend. Then, she remembers reading the "Paralax," file.

"Which idiot was courting domestic violence cases this round?"

Because the whole idea of taking on Travis makes her skin crawl.

"Despero. He took over... well... A lot of people."

Arisia takes another bite. "You'd think I'd... I don't know. Be more ... ready for it... or... something." She chews thoughtfully.

"Happened before, huh?" She remember Neron and Caleb's merry chase. Corrine likely still has nightmares.

"Yeah. Well, Paralax wasn't really mind control so much as ... well..." Arisia sighs and finishes off the first bar.

"What?" She then backs off. "Sorry, sorry, GL boyfriend, too. Trying to be forwarned, but I'm not going to do that at your expense. Sorry." She retrieves the coffee.

"It shouldn't be a threat again, really. At least I hope not." Arisia looks up at her, as she comes back, "No hardship, I just don't know where I'm at with it yet."

"I've, uh, seen a couple blow up over things like this." And watched Arrow boss and Doc Boss go a little crazy about it as well. God damn son of a bitch. She pours two cups and hands one over to Ari. "They weren't the most stable thing going, but Neron didn't help matters. doesn't help that it's not exactly something you can talk about to your family. No perspective."

"Talking doesn't really help. Either you can hold the actions of the person that wasn't them seperate from them or you can't." Arisia doesn't seem to know where she stands.

"So how's the Warrior's crew? Haven't heard much gossip lately."

"They're all well. Everyone is doing well at the moment. I really should go back as soon as I can." Doesn't seem to be any time soon, really.

"I'm the only one doin' any flyin' around here for a while," comes a voice from the doorway. A tall blonde in a dangerously short black-skirted military pilot's uniform greets the pair. "Until the doc says otherwise, 'Riz here is grounded."
