Lily is never truly alone. The cacophony is constant. Other voices from distances both far and near fill her head. Knowledge of places and things random. To the discordance, there is no order. Nor is there ever silence. At the best of times, she manages to suppress the noise to nearly a whisper. At the worst of times, the flood gates burst open and reduce her to tears.

The rest of the time? She grooves.

The Doors can improve just about any situation. The volume is cranked as far as it'll go. The headphones are larger than life. The record is spinning smoothly. There is nothing to be heard beyond the mind numbingly good music of Morrison, Manzarek, Densmore, and Krieger. The base is enough to shake the walls.

His change in tactics doesn't win him any points. She's always been a person of few possessions. "I says I'm not a fan."

"What? How can you not be a fan of Zeppelin? They practically invented metal!"

And he actually resorts to air guitar.

"Hey hey, mama, said the way you MOOOVE! Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove!"

Cue awesome mouth-based guitar riffs and twiddling fingers in mid-air.

Not the most attractive of displays. She shakes her head before reaching out with both hands to gently push him out the door.

And she catches him in a one-legged power-balance, and he winds up on his butt outside her door.

"Hey, now, that was supposed to make you sweat and groove!"

Thankfully, the mask covers up a little of his embarrassed blushing.

The door closing between them will cover her sudden laughter.

Wally rubs his eyes a little.

Then, a deep sigh as he picks himself up.

"Rackin' up the world record for strikeouts there, Flasher..." he mutters to himself as he trudges off to his room.

Then changes his mind, and trudges all the way back home to Keystone for a while.

At least people love him there.
