He's never wrong.

He never allows himself to be wrong.

But it's staring him right in the face.

A lapse in judgment.

An error.

The few strips of gauze he's pulled from the drawer just aren't going to be enough to fix this mess.

The blood soaked wad currently in his hand is hurled in the direction of the sink.

Selina laughs.

She shifts against the bed for a moment, wishing she could bottle this feeling and hold it for the future. "It appears I am trapped, then. Captured and awaiting my fate."

A twinkle forms in his eye. Mischievousness, pure and simple.

"Time to divide and conquer?"

Selina's brows arch almost into her hairline, as a laugh bursts forth from her lips. Her hands slide up along his shoulders to the back of her head, to pull him down for a kiss.

"Who knew I'd married such a wanton cad."

Kisses. Yes, he likes kisses. Kisses are good.

"Are you implying that I'm morally reprehensible?"

"I'm certainly surprised. Here I thought I was the one of us with suspect morals." A wistful sigh escapes her, as she slides her fingers against themsleves.

He rolls to the side, taking her along for the ride. In a reversal of positions, she now finds herself on top.

"Just how 'suspect' are we talking here?"

"I've lost count of the number of times I've been the suspect." The smirk causes her eyes to crinkle up a bit. Selina leans down, closer to him, "How questionable do we want to be?"

"Here in the room?"

Leaning down, she kisses his shoulder where there are fading scars from a fight they had years ago. They've left so many marks on each other in so many ways. "What are you up for?"

"What am I up for?"

The sound that escapes him is remarkably similar to a stifled snort. When did his humor degenerate into jokes only worthy of teenagers?

"Other than the obvious." She nudges him in the ribs with her knee.

"Dress-up is a little old hat at this point. And I don't think either of us can actually restrain the other for any useful length of time..."

He watches her intently, lost in her features as she contemplates the possibilities.

Selina continues for a bit before she notices that he's just staring up at her, "..... What? Too much?"

He reaches up and runs his hand through her hair, the expression on his face suddenly very serious.

There is a faint hint of worry that creeps into her expression as he gets to serious.

An expression he recognizes easily. "Just admiring," he explains.

The expression fades, mostly, as she looks back down at him. One side of her lips quirk up before she ducks her head, to place a kiss in the hollow of his throat.

He turns his head, inviting her to place another.

Next her lips find his jawline. Her arms wrap around him as best they can.

There is a deep breath in followed by a slow breath out. In this very moment, be it brief or long lasting, Bruce Wayne is truly content.

A soft noise eminates from the woman above him and it does, in fact, sound a little like purring.
