Guantánamo is the easternmost province of Cuba. Its capital is also called Guantánamo. Other towns include Baracoa. The province surrounds the important U.S. Navy base at Guantánamo Bay.

Since the 1970's, the base was used to house Cuban and Haitan refugees. Since 2002, it's been the primary detention camp used on the War on Terror, and a lightning rod for controversy.

Lightning prepares to strike as 7 people...and one chimp...prepare to reach ground.

Ibn raises his sword in a salute. "I don't suppose this is the part where you tell me all of your plans..."

He concentrates...and Ibn can feel his sword arm begin to violently vibrate.

Ibn can see where this one is going. He throws his sword into the dirt and prepares to go hand to hand...

...but the vibrating doesn't stop. Ibn can begin to feel the strain on the bones in his arm...

This can go poorly quickly....

Ibn throws a series of kicks at him, hoping to stop his powers.

He has a vial of a sleep potion under his cloak, but he doesnt trust his arms right now.

The kicks do some damage, but given the (slight) distraction of the vibrating arm, they're not as effective as they could be.

He amps up the attack, sending a wave of vibration energy directly at Ibn, intended to shove him away with great force, while amping up the vibration energy to finally snap his right arm.

The attack staggers Ibn, knocking him to his feet. The loud crack leaves little doubt that his arm has been broken.

The surprise comes when Ibn slowly gets back on his feet. He grits his teeth. Pain is just something for the strong to overcome.

He pulls the sword from the ground. Thankfully, he was trained to use both hands. It is clear that he intends to give or ask no quarter in this fight.

Diamondback's attacks are rentless, but she flipped her onto her back. She's close to pinning the bitch - and then she sees Ibn. There's only really one choice. She has to let go with her right hand and throw a large rock at the small the KOBRA man's back -

Leaving her exposed.

It connects, and it sends Rattler pitching forward and rolling right at the feet of Ibn, stunned.

Diamondback responds with a punch right to the esophagus, then follows up by pulling Green Shield forward and headbutting her right onto the bridge of the nose.

He's not at full strength and his arm aches, but his friend is down. He pressed forward to defend his friend.

Ibn isn't above taking advantage of a stunned enemy. He kicks Rattler in the back of the head, knocking him out.

Tara's head snaps back with the punch. All she can think of is the fact that she has - had - a Green Lantern who used to monitor her vitals...come to her rescue. She never took him up on it. And now that Cuba is burning and she -

He's not sure if he can take this woman in his current condition, but he can distract her. "Leave her be..."
