A glimmer of silver...

Having to get used to your own body isn't something that most people ever have to do. Luckily for Selina, it doesn't seem to be taking her very long at all. Still, she hasn't ventured out onto the rooftops yet. Not further than her own roof, at least.

Wouldn't want to go and do something really embarassing.

Looking out over the city, a glimpse of something silver catches her eye as it moves through the night. Soft notes reach her ears as she turn to look, one of the facets drawing her eyes to it.

Whatever this is, she would like to keep it.

A deep sigh.

"Selina... did someone do this to you? Our world is full of poisoners and sick bastards who could... who might have..."

"Not that I know of, Harvey. It's cancer. It happens. It would be easier if there were someone to beat up."

A defeated shrug.

"I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I go beat up the clown anyway."

"Not at all."

Selina brings his hand to her lips, to kiss his palm. She's so very awful with words. She has no idea how to express what she wants to express. The worries she has for all of them. It doesn't make her angry anymore but is still frustrates her.

That... was unexpected.

A finger traces her lips.

"Never would've worked between us, would it?"

"I don't know."

Selina chuckles softly, "It isn't as though we ever really tried, either." A small pause, "I might still pull through this but if I don't... Please. Take care."

A somber nod.

"You always took better care of me than I could myself."

"I want to keep doing it, Harvey."

Selina smiles up at him a little more.

"You and everyone else."

"Then fight the good fight. Don't leave me to my own devices," he says, with a small grin.

"Get out of this place as soon as you can."

"You have no idea how much I want to get out of here. I don't know if it is in the cards."

"You'll do it. Stop debating it and just do it."

A squeeze of her hand. He's not so great at pep talks.

"I've got to be in court in half an hour... but call me if you need me. Or if you want me."

"Go save the day, Harvey."

She squeezes his hand in return. "You have all of the paperwork you need from me." All she can do is hope that the family she helped to build for herself manages to survive without her.
