She gives Wally's head a smooch on her way past with a tray of tea and cupcakes...with sprinkles.

"He's late?" asked as she puts the tray next to Barbara...she'll never call her Babs...then peers at the freshly colored toes.

"Ew. Pink?"

"Mary gave me five bucks to go pink. Blame her."

A cupcake is gone in seconds.

From:

"Speaking of someone who isn't too old to spank...."

From:

Wally mystically has another cupcake in his hand as she settles next to him, careful not to disturb the toe painting.

"Only if you spank her for being so cheap. I bribe him with way more."

From:

"It's not pink. It's coral. There's a difference." Mary tosses her damp hair over her shoulder as she enters the room, fresh from the shower.

Wally's busy trying to practice.

Waving his fingers in front of the cupcake.

"Emoceb Etalocohc!"

"Gesundheit," she replies, leaning over and stealing it from his outstretched hand with a deviant grin.

She leans into Wally and chuckles into his ear.

"Same thing happened with the waffle. When will you learn?"

From:

"You said you were going to teach me this stuff, but all I can do right now is unbend paper clips."

Her eyes flick to Barbara to make sure she's not stressing her husband's absence too much. Her hair conveniently hides the actions. This much time with the League under the training of a certain batlike person has made her much better at internalizing things.

Meanwhile, Wally gets a rib pinched playfully.

"Gotta have a bit more patience, dear. That means sitting still for more than 3 minutes."

Mary flops into another couch. "That'll come in handy if you have to take up a retirement job at Kinko's." Then she takes a large bite of the cupcake.

"No eating on the couch," Babs says automatically. "Zee, I don't think Wally can sit still for 3 seconds."

"You people and your underestimateyness," he blurts, shaking his fist and spilling coral nail polish on his hand.

"Aw, crud..."

She lifts a brow at Barbara and smirks.

"Given the right incentive..."

She doesn't even bother looking at Wally's hand, instead focusing on the cupcake in her own.

The pink...er, coral...stuff migrates to Wally's fingertips.

"Oh, it's you," Babs congratulates Wally. "Brings out your eyes."

From:

"Cute. Next thing you know I'll be all goth-black-haired and wearing fishnets..."

"Aunt Dinah could loan you hers." Mary's polished off the cupcake by now, and now she's moved on to licking the crumbs off her fingers. "Where's Dad, anyway?"

"Watch it." Cupcake frosting graces his nose via the careful appliction by a fingertip. "You like my fishnets even after my additional poundage."

Her eyes slide once more to Barbara at her daughter's question.

"Pfff... additional poundage, schmadditional schpoundage. You still fill 'em out better than anyone I've ever seen trying it, and that includes all of Mary's goofy friends..."

He'll get a cushion flung at his head for that. "Not half as goofy as yours!" Yes, she's aware that includes her father.
