It felt good.
REALLY good.
Good to be back behind the bar at Chaney's, pouring drinks and handling customers who didn't follow the rules. So far she'd had to toss two people out onto the sidewalk for fighting, and that other guy seemed to finally be waking up.
The place was bustling, and Grace wouldn't have it any other way.

He hops off the stool and drops a wad of cash on the bar for Grace to pay for the drinks, before offering an arm.
"Got anything snazz-tastic in mind, sweet cheeks?"

Date: 2009-04-09 07:39 am (UTC)A light bulb springs out of the top of his head as the hit the street outside. "Oh, I know a nice little jazz club across town, but I'd rather not suffer the cab stink - we're trying to be hygienic here."
Suddenly, he shifts into a sort of bird shape, but with a luxurious seat for her on his back, complete with seat belts and legroom so that she won't get too chilly in that miniskirt.
"So whaddaya think about hoppin' aboard and letting someone fly YOU somewhere for once? All expenses paid!"
