On the Trail

Any fugitive from justice in Gotham City - or former fugitive, as the case may be - maintains a number of safehouses throughout the city, to confound the authorities. Fortunately, Nygma knows most of Selina's usual hangouts - so it's relatively simple to check around and see which one's actually in use.

He raps on the door with his question-mark cane, calling out as he does so.

"Selina? It's Edward."

"Trust me, in a case like this, a name is the most valuable thing you can get."

He looks to the cellphone, nodding as Ragman relays his message and muttering his assent.

"Yes, I'll meet you there. Don't go in and make a scene. I'm on my way."

Closing the phone, he turns back to Selina.

"Duty calls. Give me a ring sometime soon, we'll have a drink - and if I find the film for this client, I may even buy a round."

"Of course."

Selina reaches out and puts a hand on his shoulder, for a brief moment. "I'd wish you luck but I don't think its your style."

"Who can't use a little luck now and then? Keep yourself safe, Selina."

He pats the hand on his shoulder reassuringly, and makes his way to the door.

"Oh - there are some other people looking for the film, as I understand it. So do be careful if you receive any unexpected visitors."

"I'll make sure to keep an eye out."

Selina walks behind him so she can lock up after him, a thoughtful look on her face.
