Harvey Dent actually got some positive publicity. Not something he's used to... but something he appreciates a lot more these days.

There's a slight grin on his face. Muns is up the river. This is good. The client list is starting to grow, thanks to the rub from the press. More money to come in, which means he can actually pay his assistant.

He's leaning back in his chair, feet on the desk, taking a break from some paperwork, busying himself throwing pencils at the ceiling to see if they'll stick. Waiting for Sonia to come back with news about the Fernandez case. Giving himself a little moment to relax.

Being quietly annoyed at himself for still thinking about Renee Montoya. Scolding himself for being foolish enough to think about Selina Kyle.

"Such the fool, Harvey. Such the fool."

Arisia is skulking.

It has been awhile since she's had to do any of this. While she didn't have her ring she had to learn to do a lot of things. Mostly it was fire laser rifles and blow things up. She's never really been much for being sneaky.

But there are times when nothing else will do.

The lovely thing about the Manhunters is that their patrols are like clockwork. And they don't expect anyone to actually manage to escape, so far as she can tell. Murmuring softly to herself in Graxosian, she makes her way down the hallway.

He's here. She knows he's here somewhere.

The red tube of energy stretched for miles through the vastness of space. The bright evil trap gleamed brightly for everyone to see until even its light was drowned in the immense energy that the Earth's sun produced.

Behind it; the blue marble that was Green Lantern Guy Gardner's homeworld gleamed in its own humble fashion, its image trapped and distort by the wall of red light that would prevent his retreat. If that situation alone wasn't hopeless enough; hovering in space beside of the lone Green Lantern was a mirror image of himself. The same confident and disrespecting look he had turned on so many was now turned on himself and the same sarcastic tone that had stood up to some of the strongest and oldest beings in the universe now addressed no one but him.

"Guy Gardner, Green Lantern of Sector 2814.3. That three is important, the Guardians need to remind us that were always behind their Golden Boys. Hell even when the guy was dead and the other one crippled, we were behind him, and now look at us, trapped up here in space while they're back there dying. You know they finished off our little Emerald Princess already."

The strange Guy Gardner sighs, leaning back in a relaxed posture.

"Kyle is really going to forgive you for that one...that is if we didn't get him killed too."

Travis has had to consider Cyborg's comments, and alter plans a little. But easy enough to find ways around the nature of Starbolts. He catches back up with J'onn, and tries to send a new message to the Titans.
"If you guys are still up for helping out on this, I think we can still make it work. Because of her fairly unique position right now, the bait pretty much has to be Nightstar... but we can either use technology powered by starbolt power to generate the solar pulse, or I can program her ring to alter it a little - it just can't be the ring itself generating the energy or it won't work. Either way, its pretty much up to her... and then to Cyborg and J'onn managing to do the quick hack job. We still on? If so, we have a trap to set."

It's not good to be the king, or at least, not the Regent of Atlantis right now. There has been months on end of these meetings. Every few weeks, another cave or another city to see another fire that gets put out only to flare up in two weeks after his departure - and that's if he's lucky. Court gossip abounds about the Regent and Lady Dolphin being on seperate schedules now. Mera is still mourned openly, but few seem to make the connection that the beloved queen and the Regent before them had any relationship at all. Some of the tactless ones point out that it isn't if the former king adopted his assistant. The city-states are entrenching themselves against themselves.

Worse, Aquaman took his communicator during that...problem with Manta and he hasn't been seen since up until now and news from the surface has been squashed.

So as of now, Garth sits with representives from these cities. Half who gave their oath have not appeared. The other half...

"Cerdia will want to break away meaning..."

"...meaning, my liege, no will have access to..."

"...Surface flith! These new radicals dare to undermine the worship of..."

"...Drugs. Of all kinds. Some of them even with magical properties flirt in from my neighbor who profits..."

"...off the oil profits that are expressly against this charter signed last year and retified by you own hand"

All speak of drastic times and to what measures they are willing to take to dissolve the undersea kingdom.

If you want to talk with Raven--

well, it's possible she may not talk all that much back, but if you want to talk to Raven, she's reading Our Town.

...She doesn't always meditate.

She has to chuckle at the opera bit, but she keeps the thought to herself. Hard to explain that seeing your own memorial or even hearing about it is a terribly surreal experience. Even the Founders statue out front; she like to sit and think there but she can't quite make herself look at the part that supposed to be hers. The guys? Sure and it's actually sort of comforting.

Well, that and Brainy probably isn't an opera fan.

Anyway, despite having an "unscheduled leave of abscene," for a year and a half and still playing catch up here and there, and another at Terry's insistance, Donna is still the person almost everyone has had to meet and greet soon after they reach the Titan team. She's been that long standing as a member of almost every incarnation, has a reputation for approachablity, and both things have been a source of pride. She just wishes she remembers a bit more about the specifics rather than just the impressions and feelings. Oh well.

"Well, good thing Kory likes opera and plays with high emotional content." She extends a hand. "I'm Troia. Or Donna. Take your pick. Are you a vegitarian like Dox?"
