In San Francisco, things are torrential

Jesse Quick has sent out the APB.

But right now, Titans Tower is on fire in half a dozen places, and the torrential storm overhead isn't stopping the fires nearly enough. Lightning sizzles through the sky, and well over a dozen flying figures soar around the Tower, surveilling it and occasionally blasting it with something. Many more are on the ground and in the Tower itself - parts of the Tower explode periodically as the violence escalates.

The Tower is under siege, and the Titans are fighting a losing battle.

But things change, and Weather Wizard turns his head and sees:

Shiva has been lurking.

She's been watching the Tower on and off for weeks now and has a generally good idea of what is where and how people get to and forth from it.

This attack is interesting.

It is also unacceptable.

And now she is going to step in. Ibn must be protected, no matter how she feels about him personally at the moment.

Suddenly she's surrounded.

By about fifty copies of the same guy.

Shiva smiles a little, just a little.

And then she starts to move.

She makes it a personal challenge to attempt to take down one of them with each one of her moves, showing very little need to hold back.

It's tricky - he's popping out duplicates as fast as she's knocking them out.

Knocking out, breaking - possibly even killing but that seems unlikely. Perhaps there is a limit at the number of duplicates he can make? Do they all feel each other's pain? Shiva watches movements and reactions, looking for clues.

After another five minutes of fighting, she starts noticing that the duplicates are starting to get a bit shorter.

Soon this is going to be more difficult in the manuvering. Still, this is certainly an interesting altercation, as she keeps going.

Shiva starts to be come more brutal in her take downs. She wants to get to someone in charge. This is play time.

As the duplicates shrink to five feet tall, then four, they start trying to dogpile her.

And that is when Shiva starts to make this a running battle. She is a weapon, everything she touches is a weapon as she continues to make her way. She isn't retreating or running away, more than choosing a better position for the fight.

The doubles stop appearing when they're about three feet high, and finally, there aren't any more. The field is littered with Multiplexi.

Shiva pauses fora moment when there aren't any more and takes a moment to dust herself off, straightening her collar as she continues to walk forward, through the increasingly hellish landscape of the Tower.

He strides through the rubble unconcernedly - he's actually exiting - but he sees Shiva and his stance gets a bit warier.

Shiva tilts her head to the side some as she looks at the man in front of her. Her expression becomes calculating as she looks at him.

He would be, potentially, an engaging fight but she is not sure if it would be enough, considering the trail of bodies left behind her. That was an interesting fight but not one which truly tested her in anyway.

She arches her eyebrows in question.

He stretches idly as he walks past her.

Your charge is green yet. He shows promise, but he is not yet his father's son.

"He does not wish to learn from me. He wishes to be his own man."

Her voice carries faint hints of many things but nothing clearly enough to be certain. Shiva's amazingly angry with Ibn right now but that does not dismiss her obligations.

"And you? What next for you?"

Mildly.

I am undecided. The League opposes certain of my interests - notably my interest in remaining alive - hence my association with... these. Undesirable but necessary, Dona Shiva.

Shall we battle, or shall we allow each other the courtesy of ignorance as best suits us to get on with matters of greater import?

"You might find the League's interests to not be what they were before."

Shiva stands there, looking casual, as if she could be called such a thing.

"Not today. But some day when we are less... obligated."

He nods, not unrespectfully, and walks past her without further concern.

Shiva continues on her way through the Tower.

Sooner or later, she's going to run into someone certainly not happy to see her. She's not sure if that will be an attacker or a defender.
