Who are you?
The Hermes Ballroom is packed with congoers, some in street clothes, but most in spandex, silk, leather, or the more humble cotton, plastic, and vinyl, in a riot of colors. There are Supermen, Wonder Women, Wonder Girls, Superboys, but the predominant colors are red and yellow, for Flash and Kid Flash.

Following a brief internal debate in his hotel room about the complete and utter lack of dignity involved with this, Ted decided to go forth.
Ted wanders down to the costume contest, in full Booster regalia.
"Of course, it'd be funnier if Booster were here in a Beetle costume, but.."

He turns, and flashes his best imitation of Booster's grin. "Care for an autograph, ma'am?"

Fanboys start checking through costume encyclopediae and Foley's Guide To Capespotting, trying to place the seven-foot-tall greenskinned man. A couple of people whisper "Solomon Grundy" but are immediately dismissed with disdainful looks. As he strides through the crowd, though, he's forgotten moments after he passes by most.
Which is to the general good.

Kon slid into the room, cracking and popping the peice of chewing gum he'd popped into his mouth a moment before. His eyes locked on the green-spandex wrapped behind of a beautiful girl dressed like Fire.
At least, he hoped it was a girl. She looked like one from the back, but there was that guy dressed like Zatanna from earlier. He was still shuddering a little.

Hm. She's had work done.

Kon kept his eyes glued to the swaying hips of a girl in a barely-there Black Canary costume.
"This really isn't a good time, Lex," he muttered. "Trying to think about hot girls in spandex. You belong absolutely nowhere in that equation."

Here she is.

"Guy" looks around once then heads for the bar, black cape swishing behind.

"My thanks! But, pray, excuse me. I fear the bartender has misplaced the beer and I have promised to help him find it."
With that, the cape is swished once more towards the bar.

She approaches them. "Hello." She flashes her badge. "I'm Donna Troy with Heroes Monthly. Mind if I get a picture of your group?"

Sure, that was fun, but this? Just as much if not more so.
Especially the festive nature of the ones wearing the costumes, and...
His mind is derailed as his eyes hit the well built girl in the Kory costume. He'd probably see Donna too, but his mind is a bit occupied right now.
Holy hell...Kory wears more than that! Doesn't she...?
For the moment, he's unaware that he's practically staring.

"Hey, if Chaplin can do it, so can I!" He says, sotto voce, to noone in particular.
