Everywhere, All at Once

Fate, finding mystic allies lost or fallen at every turn, reaches out his mind to ascertain the well-being of as many of his colleagues and compatriots as he can, as well as to advise the members of the Justice League and the Justice Society what's happened to date.

His mind touching the minds of his allies is like a rainfall of information and images: Shining Knight fallen, Zauriel fallen. The Wizard attacked. The Spectre out of control. Felix Faust being tortured. Blue Devil replaced with a spy.

"Who else?" He asks, reaching out his mind, searching to find what he's missed. The Ragman is missing. He can see that now. Boston Brand does not walk this plane. He searches for Jason Blood, and finds nothing. Nightmaster? Nothing.

"Where are they?"

"And sealed against retrieval by a spell. With the fabric of magic torn asunder by Wotan's return, it may not be as secure as we would wish. It is a consideration."

"Yes," says Rose, distractedly. "And both a potential boon to Wotan, should it return to Earth ... and perhaps the only thing that can keep the Spectre at bay, should he escape the Green."

Her frown grows dark as she considers the damage the Spectre can conceivably do where he is.

"I don't know if we dare risk it."

"I can't just leave him there, he's killing the people of the Green with what he's doing. They are under my protection." She hates being stuck having to choose between realms for who's going to get the most damage, it never ends well.

"We either have to calm him down or get him out before he does too much damage." Not to mention she feels everything he does to the realm.

"Agreed," says Fate, leaning into his fists as he stands above a table. "The key is defeating Wotan, before his army grows too strong."
