Somewhere deep in Louisiana, hell has come to earth.

It was a simple matter to cast the pseudo-EMP pulse to kill the power - simpler still to render the majority of the guards inert.

She then communicated telepathically to the inmates.  Cause chaos.  Kill any hero you see.  Get to New Orleans.  There will be transportation there.  And money. Significant money.

It was so easy to motivate such as these.

One more spell to allow many of them to get their gear - and then all the Three needed to do was wait.

He'll deal with the fire as soon as he can. Right now he senses... something. He can't quite tell what it is or what its supposed to be, other than some type of energy readings, but at least now he's holding still while he figures out what someone with both sight and his senses would be able to put together are illusions. At least the lasers aren't an issue on their own.

And that's when he gets tag teamed. Jack swinging with the sword on his left and a newcommmer android of some sort swinging for his back.

He almost doesn't sense it coming in time, but the difference between the odd energy readings and the very solid things catch his attention. At least enough that he manages to evade the sword... mostly. A shallow slice gets left in his t-shirt and a thin line of red appears across his chest. The swing towards his back catches only a glancing blow, still enough to send him flying forward.

Recovering, he fires two blasts at the android - they're not very powerful, really. Especially as Green Lanterns go - he's just 'painting' the target as he plans three moves ahead while awaiting their next move.

The android predictably shrugs off the blasts and keeps coming. King blocks Travis off from running towards the prison while Jack appears to be just slicing down brush around Travis.

Travis manages to hide the grin. Perfect.

He keeps flying right at King, seemingly engaging him in a game of chicken. When he nears, he dives right through the card, giving off a miniature EMP pulse as he phases - not enough to really crash the thing, since its probably shielded anyway, just enough to slow him up, maybe force him to adjust, and get these guys off guard enough to chase him, while Travis gets some distance from Jack and the sword, and whatever he's doing in the brush.

It works better and worse than expected.

King is knocked off of his card and into the triangle debris pile Jack has been wracking up around Travis, though the Lantern isn't clear yet.

Jack curses makes some adjustment on his card and divebombs Travis in a way that would be impossible if the craft didn't have some sort of attractive surface for Jack to plant his feet on.

While he's doing that, Ace rolls a log towards Travis...

...Which Ten - who just arrived - sets on fire with an energy blast.

This is the fun part. No way Travis has the raw punch to do a damned thing to that android - its taken on JLA heavyweight bruisers, after all. Hence the 'paint' job.

If he were Guy, there'd be a big green 'SUCKER' in the air - as Travis activates the teleport tag, swapping places with Ace. He needed something with enough punch to really put a hurt on it - he figures a diving Jack and a flaming log thrown with his own strength should do it.
And just to make sure this isn't any fun for Jack either, he makes sure to magnetize the android.

Oh, and while he almost never creates objects, this one is too much to pass on.

While they're trying to re-orient on him, Ten gets a spanking paddle right behind her, swinging fast.

"What the -"

Jack barely holds his swing, but the alien tech is the type that cuts through starship hulls. Ace sparks wildly and the magnitism it's then hit with makes its limbs flail like that of a drunk on the dance floor at 1am - managing to knock Jack and his card into a tree.

The paddle isn't expected but Ten compensates and dives under the paddle and comes up firing.

King and Queen however, have decided there's more profit elsewhere and get on their cards to get the heck out of dodge.

Travis could go after the Gang, but he also sees a larger group including Skorpio, Tigress, Electrocutioner, and a dozen others heading for the tree line

Travis knows he's a one man show here. What he knows of the inmates here suggests a lot of them are going to need to pool their resources somehow to deal with Hammond and the Trio.
Which means that small timers like the Gang get away for now. He can trace Ace another time. For now, murderers get priority.
He's briefly staggered by Ten's fire, but his shields hold. He also knows she's fast - so instead of shooting at her, he electrically charges the metallic objects around her, figuring the arching electricity should home in on her metal accoutrements.

Not a lot of style, but efficient. Then he dives towards the rest of the criminals.

It slows her down, and she ends up flying out on her stomach, but the Gang makes a beeline out of there.

The rest of the criminals aren't fighting so much as running full tilt, making the most of the other heroes being distracted.

He's done playing, especially with the minor leaguers. Collectively, they could take him down if he fought fair. He has no intention of doing so.

The entire area distorts, the ring warping the light rays so distances become indistinct, and anyone relying on their vision to guide them may well have to fight off nausea.
Then green lights start going off all around,at least in the areas where green smoke and mirror effects aren't springing up, a full on assault for anyone who goes by vision, especially those like the nightvisioned, light sensitive Tigress.

As far as he can tell, he's the only one here who doesn't need his eyes. A fact he relishes as he lands in the middle of them, and takes a ring-boosted right cross at the nearest jaw.

Tigress takes the hit and goes down completely. Most of the other immates are running blindly - some into trees.

There are others that actually can blindfight. Skorpio lashes out with his arsenal and Quakemaster is just desperate enough to lash out at everything with his powers.

He goes staggering back under the onslaught, thankfully his shields are holding, but he's got a few more bad scrapes and is bleeding plenty now. Thankfully, Quakemaster is taking out more villains than he is damaging Travis.

He lifts off, dodging any thrown rocks and other projectiles, and catches one of the larger rocks Quakemaster has rooted up, flinging it at Skorpio, as he makes a mental note to study some of these guys more.

Skorpio is good, but he's not "A" list. The boulder is dodged, but pins his legs. Quakemaster is still determined to ruin everything around him through area attacks.

If Travis isn't careful, Quakemaster is going to kill someone. And while he has no love for most of these guys, a lot of them are petty thugs - people he would have associated with once.

Problem is, with the guy's power over earth, he can't just blast him - something would get in the way, and getting in close could be a trouble all its own.

With no time to be subtle, he grabs everything and everyone around indiscriminately, and rockets a few tons of surroundings and supervillains into the upper atmosphere where it starts getting a little hard to breathe. "Three choices folks - we go higher and the air gets thinner, we go down... really, really fast, or anyone who wants to go back to their nice comfy cell grabs any fliers and anyone resisting arrest before I choose options A or B for you."

He may have missed a few down there, but most, he figures, are either unconscious, wounded, or still stumbling. Given circumstances, and going most of this fight alone while hie teammates play with the big guns, he'll take what he can get.

Some growl. A few swear vengence. Most just moan.

All surrender.

Travis drops them off back at the prison, then sets himself to finding the wounded prisoners and dumping them, or making sure they get tended to. He'd rather go help his teammates, but this has to be done, and he has enough faith that they can handle themselves - at least so long as he doesn't get an actual distress call.
