Greta takes Donna's hand in hers, reassuring herself as well as Donna that it's real, that she really is alive.

Hal grins. "Looks like we all have something else to be thankful for today."

It doesn't stay at a hand. Greta is quickly pulled into a hug. "Thank Persephone, long may she reign," she whispers. "I'm glad you are okay." she frowns, searching the younger hero's face. "You are okay, right?"

"I think I am," Greta tells her, returning the embrace. As she hugs Donna, she feels tears welling up in her eyes, but she can't stop smiling.

"I was lost for a while, but Boston and the Phantom Stranger helped me get back."

"Boston is good like that," she says quietly. "Come on. Ma is going to want to see you."

"Ma is up here too? Oh God, she must have been so worried!"

As she follows Troia down the hallway, though, Greta realizes that Ma wouldn't have been worrying about her, she would have been grieving. The thought of Ma Hunkle crying makes Greta want to break into a run to find her, but she realizes that Donna knows where they are and where they're going, and she doesn't. "Do you know if Ma is okay?"

"She's cooking Thanksgiving, hon. I know she can't be okay with out you." There's a brief look outside towards someplace known just to her and then back to her charge.

"Mothers are like that."

"X'hal!" exclaims Kory, rapidly flying to catch up with them. "Greta, is it truly you?"

Greta turns around, and blushes a little at all the attention.

"Yeah. Are you guys still fighting whoever sent the plague, that you're all up here?"

Something Donna said dawns on here even as she asks, and she turns to Donna. "It's Thanksgiving?"

"The plague is over," contributes Kory, still stunned.

Greta stops. She wants to see Ma and let her know she's okay, and she wants to see her friends, but...

"How long was I- I mean, how long has it been since-?" Greta looks from Donna to Kory, unable to finish. the sentence.

"About a week, sweetheart. Maybe a day or two more than that." More quietly. "I understand. If you need to be someplace more quiet then I'll get you a plate and have Mrs. Hunkle and whoever else will help come to you, all right?"

Greta shakes her head slowly, wrapping her mind around the shift in time. A week? She was gone for a week, with everyone thinking she was gone for good?

"No, thank you. I want to see Ma and my friends, and let them know I'm okay."

"Then come on. We'll get some food in you."
