The heroes continue to arrive and partake in the Thanksgiving feast, with varying degrees of relief that the "alien invasion" was merely a ruse.

"Been a weird few weeks," he says under his breath. "I'll tell you later. You know, when there's not so many people around. Some of it's a little, um, personal."

Cassie nods and picks up a piece of turkey from his plate, sticking it in her mouth. She's worried, but she doesn't show it on her face. Maybe it's because she doesn't want Kon to stress over the fact that she's worried, or maybe its because she doesn't want anyone else at the table to see that she's alarmed. "Let me know when you wanna talk, handsome," she says, wishing that she were telepathic. It would make things like this a little bit easier.

Kon slips his hand into hers under the table, giving it a squeeze, thankful for the reassurance, thankful for the simple fact of a touch of her hand. "Soon. Just you and me. We should have some time together, you know, some non-Titan time."

She squeezes his hand back and then doesn't let go. "Non-Titan time is good. You know, especially considering how much Titan time we've had lately." She turns to him, a shy smile parting her glossy lips. "Sooner rather than later, okay?"

"Well, me and Donna were talking about maybe you guys coming out to Smallville. So we can establish that Conner has a long-distance girlfriend who'll come out and visit from time to time," he said, smiling hopefully. "Plus, Ma and Pa want you to come out. Spend a little time out there. They think it'd be good for me. So do I."

"I'm having Meet The Parents visions here," Cassie says with a laugh. "But that would be awesome. Coming out to Smallville. If...Ma and Pa...are really okay with it." There's an excitement in her voice, though she's trying to mask it. She can't help it. She's just really missed her boyfriend.

"Well, Ma pretty nearly had a heart attack making sure I knew that we'd be sleeping in seperate rooms," he said, smirking a little. "But other than that, yeah. Sure they're ok with it."

"Seperate rooms, huh?" Cassie smiles naughtily at Kon. "Darn." She winks at him.
