Special Agent Anderson's voice comes over the transport's comm as they reach the last leg of the flying end of their journey.

"All right, folks, you're on approach for your destination. If there are any questions, now would be time...uh...before you enter into the dead zone."

He's really considering retracting his request for be stationed as a meta liason with the government after this.

"Geez, don't they issue senses of humor to government operatives? Or do you have to requisition one, in triplicate?"

His eyes would be rolling, if he weren't a robotic avatar.

Arisia shakes her head a bit at these two.

"So. Someone want to go over the plan one more time or do we all have it?"

Moments later, the plane drops sharply about a dozen feet before stabilizing once more. The lights aboard flicker out for good. "Sorry about that, folks!" Zinda calls over her shoulder. "This place is playin' a hell of a game of howdy-doody with this crate." She's trying to get below the cloudline to get a visual lineup on a landing area as she banks the craft around once more. The large brass aviator's compass, slapped onto the instrument panel just to her right, has a cracked face; it's been through a great deal in its time. Its needle spins wildly, forcing another muttered curse from the Southern Belle.

Arisia is standing behind the pilot's seat, waiting. If Zinda needs her, she'll let her know. If not, she's more than happy to allow the other woman to bring the plane down.

Ben is way, way out of his depth. All during the plane flight in, he kept an ear on the banter and both eyes looking out the window. All of these people are powered, with abilities almost too vast to comprehend.

And here he was, a man with a knack for violence and more than a few screws loose upstairs. Still, this was no different than your average Squad mission. Just ... more.

The bumpy ride doesn't faze him too much - he automatically shifts his weight around to compensate for the dips and banks. The Bronze Tiger was in control - no, Ben was in control. The Bronze Tiger was a mask he wore, nothing more.

Hopefully this collection of screwups, misfits, jokesters, and children wouldn't get him killed. With that thought, he finally smiled.

This was just like the Suicide Squad.

"You can do one thing for me," the Blackhawk responds to Plaz, not taking her gaze away from the view just beyond her cockpit. "I'm gonna need brakes when this ship comes down. The flaps ain't responding." To Arisia, she says, "Scout ahead for me, sugar. Find me somewhere to put down. If this place is as weird as Secret Agent Boy said, I don't entirely trust my eyes."

"There's an EEL on the wing o' this plane!"

Cassie watches Plastic Man ooze out the window before asking, "Do you require anything of me, Lady Blackhawk?"

Arisia fades through the walls of the plane, dropping down through the bottom to the side. She streaks forward, looking for the best place to put the plane, It looks like it'll be rough no matter where you land.

Plaz takes a look around once they get to a more populated area.

"Hmm. Looks mighty touristy for a high-altitude Bermuda Triangle..."

Arisia looks at the knickknacks and the people selling them, wearing a curious expression. After a few moments she asks her ring to translate the small signs that seem to be everywhere. "This is.... strange."

"Strange? What, they don't have a Sundollar Coffee?"

"I wish they did. This is like the country that Sundollar forgot or something" Cassie replies. "A white mango Tiazzi sounds great right about now," the blonde teenager she adds with a wistful note in her voice, thinking of her favorite tea-juice blended drink from the famous franchise. She looks around, hands on her hips, taking everything in. "Okay, so is it just like me, or is everyone else here seeing a massive shopping op?"

Zinda pauses by one of the ramshackle huts to inspect the self-professed 'yeti charms' as its proprietor grins back at her toothily. "Call me cuckoo, but I didn't think having a mad scientist in residence'd be much of a tourist attraction." The yeti charms look more like the bones, hair and teeth of goats than of any mythical mountainous creature.

Ben kept one eye on his team and the other on the bazaar. It was cold, bitingly so, but for all that he just smiled.

It almost felt like coming home.

Moving past one native, he stopped and picked up a handstitched Yeti doll. He paid for his transaction and put the doll in his pocket.

Mari'd love it.

But it was time to get his head in the game, not to pick up knick-knacks for women. Back to business.

When they round the corner of one of the rough village streets, he stands. Wizened eyes pick details from the strangers within seconds while he steps away from the door to his home.

He has been guide for most of his life. These days he spends most of his time talking people into staying off of the mountain. If those in the first large bird had come to the village first, he thinks, maybe... No matter now.

"Americans. Here."

Plaz's ear grows a little bigger as his head stretches off of Zinda's shoulder.

"Not all of us, pal," is the response, stretching his neck to indicate a direction for everyone else.

"We're packin' an alien, too, from Planet..."

A turn to Arisia. "What planet are you from, anyway? I wanna say 'Glaxon-5,' but that might've been a movie I saw about hot miniskirt space babes..."
