LAST TIME, ON TEEN TITANS:

"Hey, there have been some strange deaths at this local high school!"

"We should investigate gang!"

"Golly, could the school psychiatrist be doing something to the kids?"

"Oh no, Raven doesn't know that the school shrink is Spellbinder! And she's at a therapy session!"

NOW:

"Excuse me!" Beast Boy shouts, hopping over a shocked student, flipping between a kangaroo, a cheetah, and his human form to blur through the school as fast as he can. He slams against the school psychologist's office door, goes, "OW! Ooooowwwwwwww." Beast Boy hisses, rubbing his shoulder and wincing. "Stupid fancy new doors."

Beast Boy tugs on the handle a little, pushes, and finally realizes its one of those doors you pull. One opening later, he bursts in on the sinister session! "Hold it right there!" Beast Boy exclaims, pointing a finger at, well, whoever's right in front of him. This is about when Garfield notices a familiar red glow. "Oh. Huh." Beast Boy pales a little, "...tthhiiisss isn't gonna end well..."

"I don't get it. Why would a goth be tied to a tree?"

He's back on his feet, of course, and running - hitting Raven with short bursts of air from windmilling his arms, to try and keep her distracted.

Beast Boy makes a few expressive arm gestures, trying to subtly indicate to his teammates that, yes, he is trying to lure Raven outside where she can be pacified without as much risk to other people.

This amounts to Beast Boy pointing out the window, doing a 'shh!' motion with his hands, slipping on a gum wrapper and falling on his ass. "ow..."

Bart seems to get the hint, shifting those miniature cyclones to try and blow Raven out the window.

Raven glowered at Beast Boy. "You-are an unbelievably pathetic waste of life," she snarled at him, "It disgusts me." She opened up another release of her anger and frustration aimed at Beat Boy...

Only to get blown out the window by Bart, landing flat on her ass.

Now? She's REALLY angry.

A problem about fighting magic: Beast Boy can usually change into an animal better suited to handle the sort of pain that a threat dishes out. But there isn't an animal on earth that handles psychic hate rays well, and the changeling is blasted to the ground, his chest marred by an ugly red mark where flesh was ripped open by empathic friction. Smoke rises from the impact point.

For a moment, Beast Boy is still. He doesn't even breathe.

"...one of these days." Gar wheezes, holding his throat and groaning as his malleable flesh twists around. "...she's really gonna hurt my feelings, sayin things like that."

There's a flash, and a frog, and Beast Boy's humanoid again, on his feet and only looking a little terrible. He gives Flamebird a wink and Nightwing a grin, throwing a thumbs up at Kid Flash. He then starts running forward, knuckles scraping against the ground occasionally as the Beast Boy gets ready to hop through the window Kid Flash kicked Raven out of.

"I may be disgusting! I may be pathetic! I may have been dumped by a flower!" Beast Boy shouts, grinning like a maniac as he falls towards the ground, "But can you do THIS?!"

There's a shadow over Raven's position on the ground; this is on account of a green bull elephant falling three stories towards her. Beast Boy's trunk trumpets as he falls, exalting in the clownishness of it all.

Flamebird looks toward Nightwing with a questioning look on her face. Then she shrugs and points toward the window that's been broken through. Turning, she runs to follow Gar out of the window, taking a diving leap. Luckily, there are trees out there that she can swing off the branches to land near by.

She should really take a bit better look before she leaps but, well, maybe next time.
