After leaving the LexCorp building with Grace, and agreeing to meet up with the other members of Infinity Inc at the designated area of downtown, Kara decided that she'd have another quick fly around, to see if she recognised any familiar structures. It was strange. Metropolis was clearly changed, and she was trying to work out in what way when she realised that a lot of the things were just modifications on old designs. The cars were quicker and quieter, the building interiors plusher and the computers more advanced. Even the little things like the suits men and women were wearing; the collars were smaller, the trousers tighter, shoulderpads practically non-existant. All fascinating, in their own way. What could cause such tiny changes in this world?
Flying to downtown as agreed, she got to work almost immediately. The being known as Chemo wasn't completely foreign to her; she remembered one from her world, which was equally as destructive. She surveyed the devastation it had caused, and with a resolute look, began to use both her superspeed, strength, and invulnerability to clear away a lot of the toxic soup that remained in the area. She shored up buildings, and in the blink of an eye was disintegrating ruined furniture and half-melted cars with her heat vision. All thisdetritus was no use to anyone who might want to live here once the cleaning had been completed.
Some of the toxic waste made even her feel ill. As Infinity Inc hadn't shown up yet, she would let them deal with that, providing they had the equipment to do so. But within half an hour, a great deal of the outward damage in downtown was already healed. As Infinity Inc started to roll in, Supergirl flew down to the middle of the road to greet them with a smile. "I've done some of the work, but this'll need to be a team effort. I should probably introduce myself, as the only one I've met is Grace. My name is Supergirl, and I'm really hoping that together we can clean up the destruction that seems to have hit Metropolis."
